Some earlier correspondence between the Vice-Chancellor and Malcolm Povey, the President of the University of Leeds UCU, is available.

The Vice-Chancellor's letter of 14 January to Malcolm Povey suggested a meeting with local and national UCU officers to discuss the points at dispute. That remains the University's position.

We have received notice that UCU has withdrawn its two notices of intention to ballot on national industrial action. The UCU has signalled its intention to issue new notices in due course.
