Focus groups on disability equality in the Higher Education sector

The Equality Service is supporting the University to generate interest from disabled staff and students to participate in a national project researching disability equality in higher education.

The aim is to help higher education institutions review the promotion of disability equality. The research is coordinated and led by the Learning and Skills Network, staff and students are encouraged to participate in either a focus group or one-one interviews, participation (and the information captured) will be completely anonymous.

The staff focus group will be held on Wednesday 2nd February at 10.30am at the Equality Service training room, room 10.50, Level 10 EC Stoner Building.

The student focus group will be held on Wednesday 2nd February at 1.30pm at the Equality Service Training Room, room 10.50, Level 10 EC Stoner Building.

The sessions will last for approximately 60 - 90 minutes and refreshments will be provided.
