Emeritus Professor David Layton, OBE
Members will be very sorry to learn of the death, on 28 November 2010, of Emeritus Professor David Layton, OBE, former Professor of Education (Science) in the School of Education, who retired in 1989.
The funeral will be held at 11.40am on Friday 10 December 2010, at Stonefall Cemetery and Crematorium, Wetherby Road, Harrogate, HG3 1DE (opposite the Yorkshire Showground).
Weather permitting, the flag will be flown at half-mast on the Parkinson Building on Friday of next week, in memory of Professor Layton.
