Would you let your car drive itself?
That’s the question that Dr Natasha Merat (Institute for Transport Studies) is helping to answer on Antenna, part of the Science Museum’s website which discusses the latest scientific developments.
Dr Merat is one of four experts asked for their opinions on whether driverless cars are likely to be on our roads in the near future. She comments: "We need more research to understand the consequences of highly automated cars for the driver."
