Friday concert - New tunes on old fiddles III

The regular Friday lunchtime recital series provides a wide ranging programme to suit all tastes – an ideal opportunity to sample an unfamiliar repertoire.

Tomorrow (26/11/2010) they are holding an exciting programme of music for recorder - contrasting music from Van Eyck's (1589-1675) famous collection with 20th/21st century repertoire including two world premiers one of which, a new work by Matthew Bilyard, was commissioned by the BBC for this concert.

The event is held in the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall and light refreshments will be availble from 12:30.
