Stories and stars at the Saturday Club
Spellbinding stories, creating a star book and a ‘Write me a picture’ workshop are three upcoming events in November at the Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery’s new Saturday Club.
The creative, free activities are for all ages - some family events, some adult activities - are run every Saturday throughout the year. Generous funding by The Audrey & Stanley Burton Trust has made the programme possible, and events will make use of different art forms, including writing, dance, hands-on art-making and performances.
The idea is to make the Gallery a vibrant, lively centre for engaging with art, and it's hoped that many staff members and their families, together with other members of the public, will enjoy coming to take part in the Saturday Club.
