Grant win for joint UK-Israel research project

Professor Michael Krom (School of Earth and Environment) has been awarded a grant by the Britain Israel Research and Academic Exchange Partnership, BIRAX.

The project is one of 10 joint British-Israeli research projects to tackle global challenges in energy and the environment which were announced by British Foreign Secretary William Hague at an event celebrating scientific collaboration between the UK and Israel. 

Professor Krom willl work with Professor Jaap van Rijn, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, on a project to investigate the process of phosphorous removal in a mariculture system.
