New Banner Progression Tool

The new Banner Progression Tool will be available from 1st June 2009.

The new tool has been developed for support staff in Schools to use in preparation for, and during their Progression Boards to decide on the progression of returning undergraduates and to record the appropriate progression codes.

The Progression Tool is for Banner users who deal with End of Year student progression and to view student data at other times during the year. A number of reports and outputs to MS Excel worksheets have been provided; these outputs will provide staff with a comprehensive range of academic data on their students, including a range of module statistics to assist with the Module Review process.

The project to develop the Progression Tool included a Working Group, which consisted of support staff from schools who give useful input into the design, functionality and were heavily involved in the user testing.

Access is given to all Banner users who complete and pass the Computer Based Training (CBT). If you have requested access you should have already received an email on how to access and complete the training. If you haven't received an email & would like further information regarding training please contact sims-training@leeds.ac.uk. If you wish to learn more about the Progression Tool, and what it offers please contact Stephanie Maccabe in Taught Student Administration by emailing: s.maccabe@adm.leeds.ac.uk.

If you experience any problem using the CBT, or the Tool later on, then please contact the ISS Help desk (helpdesk@leeds.ac.uk).
