Helping students make a difference

The Leeds for Life foundation is a new venture to help students make the most of their time at the University of Leeds and develop new and existing skills.

Funded by our alumni, projects encourage a desire to seek out new challenges, to encounter new places and to make a positive and practical difference to the lives of other people locally or further afield.

The award of the first grants has taken place. To see who the recipients are and the projects they are undertaking, take a look at the foundation section on the Leeds for Life website.

Visit the site later in the early autumn to find out how the projects developed when we will start to post case studies from the students involved.

A call for new grant bids will happen in the autumn and more details will be announced via the portal and Campusweb at the start of the new academic year.
