New conference brand and website
The University’s first-class conference and events service has now been re-launched under new branding and with a new website.
All information on conferences and events venues and facilities can now be found at http://www.meetinleeds.co.uk/ Apart from offering an array of conference services and facilities to our internal market, the conference department looks to attract even more conference organisers to Leeds to enjoy private sector hospitality services at affordable prices.
Richard Handscombe, Head of Sales and Marketing for Residential and Commercial Services (RCS) said of the re-branding: "The University of Leeds has a fantastic reputation and heritage both in the region and indeed the country and we wanted to ensure our service - and indeed clients benefitted from this. Our new name is 'Meet In Leeds' and we think it's particularly in sync with the fantastic work that organisations such as Welcome to Yorkshire, Conference Leeds and the University itself are all doing to ensure Leeds and Yorkshire is seen as a destination for both tourists and businesses alike."
The new website is very user-friendly with interactive pages allowing visitors to see the varied facilities on offer through online video streaming, and appreciate the fantastic fine dining available as well as find a solution which is right for them, their organisation and budget.
