Leeds 7th in national ranking for student experience

The 2009 Times Higher Education’s student experience poll, out today (14 January) sees Leeds move to 7th place, up from number 11 in 2008.

More than 11,000 full-time undergraduate students gave their views on every aspect of university life, from the quality of teaching to student support, social life and institutional facilities.

Unlike other surveys in this field, the attributes rated by students were chosen by students themselves, allowing them to determine the factors they think contribute to a high-quality student experience.

For the category 'I would recommend my university to a friend' we scored equal first with Oxford and Loughborough.
