Registration open for BISA US Foreign Policy Working Group

his fifth annual conference of the BISA (British International Studies Association) US foreign policy working group takes place on 14 and 15 September in University House.

It will include a wide range of topics, both contemporary and historical.

Many delegates will be reflecting on the impact the Obama administration has had on US foreign policy as it approaches its mid-term point. This will be the theme of the plenary speaker address given this year by Dr. Stefan Halper, Senior Fellow at the Cambridge Centre of International Studies.

Many will know Dr. Halper as co-author of:
- America Alone: The Neoconservatives and the Global Order, CUP 2004
- The Silence of the Rational Center: Why American Foreign Policy is Failing, Basic Books 2007
- The Beijing Consensus, Basic Books, 2010.
