Print & Copy Bureau

Due to the pond area outside the Roger Stevens Building being redeveloped, the main entrance to the Print & Copy Bureau (PCB) and café is closed until 6 December. Access can be gained via level 7.

PCB has introduced a new parcel tracking system which sends an email notification to customers when deliveries are leaving the despatch department and also upon delivery of the goods. If customers wish to identify who signed for their goods, the email provides a link to this information, including name and signature. The confirmation of delivery also provides an opportunity to provide feedback to PCB regarding the overall service received.

Remembrance Day

LUU is organising an event to observe Remembrance Day on behalf of the Union and the University, with a ceremony outside the Union Building at 11am on Thursday 11 November. Anyone wishing to participate should gather outside the Union at 10.50am.

Guidance on the new Equality Act

The Equality Act became law on 1 October 2010. It replaces previous legislation (such as the Race Relations Amendment Act 2000 and the Disability Discrimination Act 2005) and makes equality law simpler and easier to understand. The Act provides a legal framework to protect the rights of individuals and advance equality of opportunity for all.

2011 Year Planner now available

Previously known as the Reporter calendar, the planner gives details of dates for terms and teaching starting and stopping, exams and degree ceremonies, plus when the University will be closed. It will also indicate when the Reporter is published and give dates for submitting story ideas and small ads.
