The Employment Security Review Group (ESRG) held its first meeting this week. It is likely to meet monthly in future. Annual Staff Declaration

The Annual Staff Declaration (ASD) is mandatory for all staff at or above grade 8. The ASD enables the University to fulfil its duty to identify and manage any potential conflict of interests and to meet its statutory obligations regarding reporting related party transactions. All eligible staff will receive an email on Thursday 27 May 2010 with a link to the ASD website where they will be able to make their declaration up until Saturday 31 July 2010.

The Old Bar in the Union building will be showing all the World Cup football matches from 11 June to 11 July.

Banner 8 upgrade

The corporate Student Administration system Banner was upgraded to version 8 over the May Day Bank holiday and went live 4 May, incorporating the latest software releases and ensuring the University remains on full SunGardHE support and supporting technologies.
