Inflationary pay award

The nationally agreed pay increase for non clinical staff effective from 1 August 2009 has been agreed at 0.5%. This will be implemented for staff paid at the end of the month with their January salary and staff paid mid month in February.

Help Haiti

The University and campus trade unions UCU, UNISON and Unite are supporting the campaign to raise money for Haiti. The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), which is made up of 13 humanitarian aid agencies, has launched an emergency appeal to help Haiti following the earthquake.
