The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills launched an information campaign about student finance for 2012 on 9 May. We will be providing more detailed information soon on how to communicate the new fees arrangements at Leeds.

Electric car/bike charging points

The University is considering the possibility of adding electric charge points on campus for cars and motorbikes. We are interested in hearing whether any staff would use these and what type of vehicle (car, moped or motorbike) they would be using. Brotherton Library 75th anniversary celebrations

On Tuesday 17 May the University Librarian, Dr Stella Butler, is to launch six months of celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the Brotherton Library.

Carers Week event 14 June

As part of National Carers Week, there will be an information event in the Staff Centre lounge. Drop in anytime between 12pm and 3pm to find out more about the support that is available to staff who are carers. There will be stalls from HR, Equality Service, Occupational Health (including Counselling) and Carers Leeds among others.
