REF2014

In March 2006 the government announced that RAE 2008 would be the last research assessment exercise in the current form. RAE will be replaced by the Research Excellence Framework (REF). REF will be managed by HEFCE (the Higher Education Funding Council for England) on behalf of the four UK higher education funding councils.

Have a look at the REF website for the latest information from HEFCE and on the University's arrangement for managing and developing our submission to REF2014.

A powerpoint presentation on the University's planned approach to the REF2014 is now available. View powerpoint slides (campus or remote access only)

REFNET - is the University's email network for anyone interested in the REF, but not directly involved in the submission process as either a Unit of Assessment leader or deputy or in a REF-supporting role. If you would like to join please email leedsref@leeds.ac.uk

Please send any queries you may have about the REF at Leeds to leedsref@leeds.ac.uk
