Awards success for IT Service Desk colleague

Antonia Jones has won the 2015 Service Desk Institute IT Service & Support Awards title of 'Best Support Professional'.

The IT Service & Support Awards recognise and reward outstanding contributions to customer service and excellence in IT service management across the European service desk industry.  This year the University of Leeds was the only organisation to be shortlisted in three categories:

Best Small Service Desk - University of Leeds IT Service Desk
Best Support Professional - Antonia Jones
Inspirational Leader - Sally Bogg

Rhys Davies, IT Director, says: "Antonia won the Best Support Professional award after a rigorous 'grilling' from the judges and I am sure you will join me in congratulating her on her win: well done Antonia. The team were disappointed not to have won Best Small Service Desk but they should be incredibly proud of their achievement in being shortlisted."

As part of the awards the team had to make a 'fun' two-minute video to showcase the Service Desk.
