Can eating pancakes improve cholesterol? Low levels of 'good' cholesterol in the blood are associated with increased risk of heart disease and diabetes.

We are looking for men and women age 18 to 80 years who are non-smokers. Women with a size 14+ waist and men wearing waist size 36" (large) are at increased risk.

Participants will eat 2 small pancakes every day for 4 weeks as part of their normal daily diet. At the beginning and end of the trial we will measure weight, waist circumference, and blood pressure, plus cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose in the blood.

There is a £20 gift voucher reward for completion of the study.
