Nexus

Nexus is a key part of the University’s strategy to facilitate productive relationships between the academic community, entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs and corporates. It supports the development of collaborative partnerships which drive economic and societal impact.

Nexus enables its member businesses to connect with the research, talent and facilities across the University and with partners across the Leeds Innovation Ecosystem. The community of high-growth businesses is located across the globe but has its physical base on the University campus.

Nexus has a team of relationship managers who work with businesses to put in place strategic plans that deliver tailored support at key stages. This could involve working together to boost innovation and productivity, or accessing and developing talent through university placements, leadership training and continuing professional development.
